Our story started

In Sayre Oklahoma in 1983. Founded from Grandma's recipe that has been bringing families to the table since before 1983. When our Grandma and Mom started their restaurant together and was named after our mom Deb. People from our hometown have been begging us to come back and open another Deb's and while that isn't in the cards at the moment, this was the next best way to get to share our family recipe with not only the people who have loved it all these years but the country. We hope from the bottom of our hearts that you love this sauce, put it on everything and tell everyone you know where they can get it. Here's to taking your next meal to another level.

Deb's Country Kitchen. More to the story.

Our Story started in the small Oklahoma town of Sayre. Our grandmother Anita Sanders had restaurant in her blood from day one. Anita had several restaurants over time, but in 1983 she settled into 205 South 4th Street in Sayre at Deb's Country Kitchen. Named after her daughter Deb, they worked side by side making it a very popular and well-known place for locals and the many travelers going down Route 66. Deb's was all about home cooking and Anita and Deb worked tirelessly to create homemade Mexican food. They created an enchilada sauce like no other. Deb's was a special place full of laughter, fun and most important of all family. Deb's ran for many years and was alive with love until the family fell upon illness starting in 2004. In the 3 years following the family lost Sandy(our grandpa), Anita and Deb and the laughter grew silent. Until now. Our family decided it was time to pay tribute to those we lost. In this day and age, a time where that small town feel can seem like a thing of the past, we here at Deb's hope to bring back two things. One, to bring back dinnertime at the table, unplugged from technology and being present with the ones you love. And two, we want to bring together family, friends and strangers over a good meal made with unconditional love and a whole lot of heart.

This sauce is THE BEST. The recipe comes from a restaurant in my home town. They had the best Mexican food I have ever had! Everyone in town loved their Mexican food and since they closed several years ago, EVERYONE always talks about missing it and wanting them to reopen. I mean everyone in town! I am so happy to have the seasoning so that I can cook them myself now! It is literally THE. BEST. EVER. ❤
